King salmon are prominent around Sitka during May, June, and July, and sometimes into August. King salmon often weigh in at over 30 lbs, and specimens have been caught that were well over 100 lbs! Coho salmon can also be found in the later summer months, into September. If you're after Alaska salmon, our fishing lodge is the place to be.

Halibut fishing is also very popular in the waters surrounding Sitka . Halibut are available year round, with 50 lb to 150 lb fish being the most common, though fish weighing 300 lbs or higher have been caught as well.
